What a 'DECK'!
Mar 17, 2023Dogs are social animals that have been bred to live and work closely with humans for thousands of years. As a result, they have developed a strong attachment to their owners and crave attention and affection from them.
When dogs see their owners working, they may interpret it as a sign that their owners are occupied and not giving them enough attention. In response, dogs may try to get closer to their owners to seek attention and companionship.
Additionally, dogs may be attracted to the sounds and smells of their owners' work. For example, if their owners are cooking, dogs may be drawn to the aroma of the food. If their owners are typing on a computer, dogs may be attracted to the sound of the keyboard.
Ultimately, dogs want to be near their owners because they feel safe and happy in their presence. Being near their owners also provides them with a sense of security and comfort, which is why they seek out their owners' company even when they are busy.
